The Gel Base For Metallic Neuro Head Frame is a medical device designed to provide a cushioning interface to metallic neuro-head frames. It is intended to support patients’ facial contours with complete pressure redistribution and has a single phase continuous surface, which is essential for prolonged brain surgeries. The device is available in medium and large sizes and is provided as a pair of two halves (mirror images) with an inner separation width ranging from 80-85 mm. The design complements the neuro-head frame with an internal length range from 125 to 145 mm.

The Gel Base For Metallic Neuro Head Frame is made of a silicone-free artificial cushioning gel that is translucent for X-ray observations and does not leak while pricking. It has a stick-on surface at the bottom that can adhere to positioning belts without any chemical adhesive. The device is organic, inert, reusable, and does not bottom out with repeated usage. It also has a maximum rebounding capacity, regaining its shape in less than a fraction of a second after pressure is removed.
